1 week, 100 miles!
The scooter adventures continue…I can hardly believe that I’ve already clocked 100 miles on the thing just zippin’ around town. Most of my journeys involve getting ice cream, cinnamon scones, coffee or other edibles.
I get such a kick out of all the attention it garners! Yesterday I was stopped at a red light when I started to hear a low rumble approaching. I turned to look and directly beside me was a mountain of man on a huge Harley with long hair and a fu man chu. Little ol’ me on my scooter kind of turned (nervously) to give him a half-hearted smile, when to my surprise he didn’t want to eat me and my bike, but instead wanted to congratulate me on how much gas I’m saving!!! It’s really funny how riding any two-wheeled vehicle makes you kin with others!
